Ladies will dine in style at Millbrae
Ladies will be to the fore at Millbrae on Saturday.
More than 350 females and guests will be out in force for the ladies charity rugby lunch from noon.
The popular annual event was sold out in July.
But people are welcome at the after party following the Ayr v Glasgow Hawks first home league game which kicks off at 3pm.
The lunch will raise funds for the Little Art School in Ayr.
Meanwhile, Millbrae is looking in good nick thanks to the team from JJL Groundworks who have been working hard to get the pitch in great shape.
Ayr 2nd XV started their season with a 19- 16 win over Boroughmuir 2nd XV in BT Reserve One.
Tries came from Zac Howard, Euan Hamilton and Michael Badenhorst with kicking points added by Matt Davidson. Man of the match was Harry Warr.
Ayr Ladies are in action on Friday night when they entertain Cartha under the Millbrae lights at 8pm.
CARRICK are off to a flier in BT West One after beating Stewartry 45- 16 and now host Greenock Wanderers on Saturday.
CUMNOCK opened their campaign in BT West 2 with a 29- 17 win over Strathendrick and now visit Waysiders Drumpellier.
MILLBRAE entertain Lenzie on Saturday, hoping for action after their opening game at Uddingston was off.
The Ayr- Wellington teams have continued their fixtures in the Shogun Conference ( boys), Barbarian Conference ( schools) and Mirage Conference ( girls).
