Heriot’s crumbled from 35- 4 after 14 overs to 88- 9 with 11 overs to go before Prestwick made the final breakthrough to win by five runs with spinner Sachin Chaudhary taking 4- 20.
In an inspired change, wicket-keeper Fraser Macdonald bowled the last three overs and cleaned up with the final two wickets.
Coach Andy Tennant said: “It’s a brilliant achievement by the lads.
“They deserve the success they’ve had this season for the way they have worked and consistently found a way to win. Today was a classic example.”
