Team to call when only the best will do
The team at Tom Callaghan Windows and Conservatories Ltd often say that there is no job too big for them to take on.
But few jobs are quite as large as that recently undertaken for Mr and Mrs Tait of Largs.
The couple built their own house in 1999 and recently felt that the time had come for them to replace their 36 hardwood windows, storm doors and inner doors and to refurbish their conservatory.
Mr Tait said: “The original windows and conservatory required continual maintenance and had become draughty.
“We thought it was time to make a change and to get rid of the requirement for ongoing maintenance.”
Asked how they came to give their business to Tom Callaghan, Mr Tait said: “The company was actually first mentioned to us by my wife’s hairdresser.
“We happened to be in Ayr one day so we popped in to the office and asked for a quote.
“We had four quotes in total and in the end we chose Tom Callaghan for a variety of reasons: we were comfortable with Tom’s sales style, we liked that the company uses their own fitters and the price was reasonable.
“Overall they provided confidence that they could do a job we would be happy with.”
The Taits dealt with Tom himself and were impressed with his nopressure sales style, saying: “Tom offered his opinions but was easy to work with.
“He answered all our questions and left us feeling comfortable in our choices.”
Mr and Mrs Tait were also delighted with the work done by Derek and Graeme on site.
Mr Tait said: “The team were very good and took pride and care in their work. They were very pleasant, which was important as they were here for several weeks.
“We have no complaints at all. They come very highly recommended.”
The couple were delighted with the finished product and would be more than happy to recommend the company to others.
Mr Tait said: “Like all big spends, it’s important that you do your homework and find the right company for you.
“However, we would certainly recommend that you consider including Tom Callaghan in the mix.”
