Hallowe’en hamper digs deep for charity

-

A Hallowe’en surprise will give one of Ayrshire’s top cancer charities a welcome boost.

Digby Brown Solicitors in Ayr put their Hallowe’en Champer Hamper up for sale, with one lucky winner in line to net 12 bottles of bubbly.

The law firm hope to raise £ 500 for Ayrshire Cancer Support, which they will add to £ 1,700 they helped raise at a race night earlier this year.

Damian White, partner of network at Digby Brown Solicitors, said: “Ayrshire Cancer Support is our charity of the year and we are pleased to help them in any way we can for the incredible work they do across the country.

“Cancer is something that affects so many people nowadays and that’s why the money raised in the raffle is so important because people across Ayrshire will know first- hand what it’s like to get help from support groups.

“We hope everyone can dig deep because you’re not just giving a charity money – you’re helping a cancer patient and their families stay strong.”

The latest fundraising effort comes just two weeks before of a glittering ball to celebrate Ayrshire Cancer Support’s 35th anniversary.

Anyone who wants to enter contact the Digby Brown office in Ayr to buy one of 100 squares for £ 5 each. To take part call 01292 438585 or email elaine. mitchell@ digbybrown. co. uk.
