Kids can come along and get creative at The Dick Institute, Kilmarnock, as East Ayrshire Leisure launches the latest block of DO ART at the DI! on Thursday, April 19.

Using a variety of mediums including paint, print and ceramics, children can take inspiration from the exhibitions on show in the galleries before creating their own masterpieces.

DO ART at the DI! is suitable for ages 7+ and is held weekly on Thursdays from 4pm to 5.30pm until Thursday, June 14. All materials will be provided.

The block costs £ 45 and booking is essential.

Also starting on Thursday, April 19 at The Dick Institute is a new session of adult and young people’s art classes.

Professional artist Fiona Fleming will help you to develop your drawing skills in a fun and informal environment, exploring a range of art mediums, techniques and materials, suitable for both complete beginners and the more experienced.

Classes are for ages 14+ and will run weekly on Thursdays from 6pm to 7.30pm until Thursday, June 14. Cost is £ 54 per block and booking is essential. All materials are provided.
