Miss the wedding at model rail show

Ayrshire Post - - Troon News -

Kyle Model Railway Club will hold their annual exhibition in Troon for the first time this weekend.

Secretary Alan Rosamond reckons it is the ideal place to escape the royal wedding.

The exhibition will be held in the Walker Hall on Saturday and Sunday.

Alan said: “Troon is ideal from our point of view.

“We have exhibitors from all over Scotland and a number of traders and exhibitors from south of the border attending.

“I’d like to think the Royal Wedding will be positive for us as many people will be looking for an alternative to escape the constant TV coverage. Our exhibition will provide the perfect antidote.”

The exhibition will have nine layouts and five traders, a modelling demonstrationa and preservation group stands.

It is open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
