Ro­tary club tee up win­ner with great golf day

The Prest­wick Ro­tary Club Am golf day was thor­oughly en­joyed by all – de­spite some chal­leng­ing weather.

More than £ 4,500 was raised for lo­cal char­i­ties, in­clud­ing CRUK and The Sea Cadets in Ayr. The guest speaker was foot­ball pun­dit Gor­don Smith, who en­ter­tained an ap­pre­cia­tive au­di­ence.

Prest­wick Ro­tary Club thanks all spon­sors, es­pe­cially main backer, Buz­zworks. The main event or­gan­iser was lo­cal pho­tog­ra­pher Iain For­rest, who de­serves great credit for mak­ing the day such a suc­cess. The Ro­tary Club of Prest­wick looks for­ward to a re­peat of the ac­tion in 2019. Win­ning team, rep­re­sent­ing Tal­lisker Bay In­ter­na­tional, was cap­tained by Gavin Lawrie with Jimmy Martin, Stu­art Ram­say and John Ma­son.
