Grab last few tickets to see funnyman Ed

-

Top stand- up comic Ed Byrne brings his Spoiler Alert tour to the Grand Hall, Kilmarnock, on Tuesday, May 29, and there are still a few tickets remaining.

During his 20 years in comedy, a career which began while studying at Glasgow’s Strathclyde University, the Dublin born funnyman has enjoyed huge success in the UK and Ireland, with a number of hit tours and sold- out runs at the Edinburgh Festival under his belt.

Recognized as one of the finest observational comics in the industry, Ed’s television credits in the UK and Ireland are countless, including Mock the Week, Have I Got News for You, The Graham Norton Show, Live at The Apollo, Comic Relief Bake Off 2015, The World’s Most Dangerous Roads and, most recently, he and Dara Ó Briain filmed the follow up to their Big Adventure show for BBC2 entitled Dara and Ed’s Road to Mandalay.

Ed has also developed a huge overseas following and has performed to capacity audiences in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Belgium, Bermuda, Norway, Austria, Switzerland and more.

In Canada, Ed has made several appearances at the prestigious Just for Laughs festival in Montreal, while in the US he has performed at the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and in top comedy clubs in New York and LA, as well as making five appearances on NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien.

For this latest 24- date tour of the UK, Ed ponders whether life is really that bad or have we good reason to complain about it? Are we filled with righteous anger at a world gone wrong or are we all just a bunch of whiny little brats? In short, are we spoiled?

The show begins at 8pm and tickets, £ 24, are available from eastayrshireleisure.com or the Palace Theatre box office on 01563 554900.
