Teams to arrive in Ayr for top festival

Almost 300 kids’ football teams will descend on Ayr this weekend for the 41st Youth Internatio­nal Festival.

Staged on Saturday and Sunday at Rozelle and the Old Racecourse, the finals take place on Monday at Dam Park.

Draw: 11 A- Sides: Age 12s: Glenburn MWFC, Pollok United, Kirkfield United, Greystone Rovers Colts; Bellfield YFC, Cleland BC, Greystone Rovers, Craigie Colts; Dalrymple Colts, Carluke United, Tri Star Boys FC, Caledonian.

Age 13s: Nith United, Kirkfield United, Cleland BC, KSC Kilwinning Rangers; Valspar United, Langcraigs FC, Tri Star Boys FC, Glenburn MWFC; Ayr Boswell FC, Kirkfield JUnited Reds, Eddlewood BC, Galston YFC; Girvan Juniors, West End Thistle, Bonnyton Thistle, Crosshouse BC.
