Duo sentenced after entering guilty pleas
The couple both pled guilty to being concerned in the supply of diamorphine when they appeared side by side in the dock.
Cops raided their James Campbell Road property on March 28 last year.
Two large packages of heroin , which could earn a combined total of £2,900 on the street, were found along with three small wraps with a deal value of £105.
Police stopped Walker in a car at the junction of James Campbell Road on July 20 last year, the court heard.
Depute fiscal Jason Bell told the court police pulled her over and noticed a strange smell.
Officers found drugs in the vehicle. Ian Gillies, defending Walker, said: “She fully accepts full responsibility for the 14 grammes (half an ounce) of heroin found in her motor vehicle.
He said his client had a “traumatic upbringing.”
He explained she had lapsed into drug abuse after a death in her family and other hardships.
The court ordered her to forfeit £1,525.
Sheriff Carole Cunninghame ordered her to attend drug addiction services and counselling as part of an 18 month community supervision order.
Her sentence, which includes a curfew, is an alternative to custody.
Lindsay was ordered to forfeit £160.
