Taking on the hills for Cairn Table Race

Dig out your fell shoes and get ready for a tough 7.2km run up one of the finest hills in Ayrshire as the annual Cairn Table Race returns on Wednesday, July 18. The event is part of the Bog and Burns Hill Running Series, which consists of 12 Wednesday evening races, spread out over the summer. This is a hill race, rather than a trail or cross country race. As such, the route is not marked and there is no support out on the course, so entrants should be prepared to be self- reliant. The race begins at 7pm. Entry fee is £ 7, or £ 5 for SAF members.
