Play area boost for two nurs­eries

Two nurs­eries in Ayr are set to re­ceive play equip­ment to help im­prove their out­door ar­eas.

B u s y B e e s a n d Aspire2Ac­cess Nurs­ery were voted for and cho­sen from 1000 nom­i­na­tions, made by par­ents, from across the UK as part of the Play More ini­tia­tive.

Now in it third year, the Play More scheme is de­signed to en­cour­age par­ents and chil­dren to get back in touch with na­ture and ex­plore the out­doors.

Marg Ran­dles, co- founder of Busy Bees, said: “We are de­lighted to win this year’s Play More Award and would like to thank all those par­ents and sup­port­ers who nom­i­nated us. The chil­dren can’t wait to get out­side and en­joy our im­proved out­door play area.”

Lisa Oys­ton, nurs­ery man­ager of Aspire2Ac­cess Nurs­ery, added that they were “over the moon” to be cho­sen for the award.
