Girvan and District Flower Club members will be exploring a utumn in all its glory.

T h e C l u b’s n e x t demonstration takes place in Girvan Community Centre tonight ( Wednesday) at 7.15 pm.

Area Demonstrator Lynn Stott is on Tour from Preston with her Demonstration entitled ‘ Autumn Glory’.

A warm welcome is assured for members and visitors.

Membership for the Season is £ 25 and Visitors £ 5 per night.

Saturday, October 20 will see a good number of people attend the Area Show in Falkirk.

The coach starts its pick up at 8.30 am on Bennane Road opposite the entrance to Elder Avenue, then at various arranged stops in town.

There are a few seats left (£ 10), so if you fancy a day visiting Falkirk or attending the show contact a member of the committee.

The Floral Art classes in Girvan Community Centre on a Thursday night given by Fiona of Fiofin Designs are proving to be very popular and well attended. There are still a few weeks before the class finishes. Everyone welcome, £ 5 per night.

The annual Open Evening in Girvan Academy Theatre takes place on Wednesday, November 28.
