South Ayrshire Ramblers will head on Sunday for Dailly for a 7.5- mile walk with 300m total ascent.
Starting from the village square, the walk first goes through Lindsayston Wood and follows the burn past waterfalls and pools.
From there it continues on minor roads before beginning the ascent of Barony Hill ( 321m).
After descending the hill, the route enters Falfarochar Glen and follows the burn downstream.
The walk then meanders through a riverside wood before following the Water of Girvan back to Dailly.
The route is mainly on tracks and paths, with very short stretches of road walking.
Some of the tracks may be muddy, so gaiters are recommended.
For details, contact Stephen Cole on 01292 737465.
To join the walk, please meet at Prestwick railway station car park at 8.50am.
