Paramedic threat
A 36- year- old man has been tagged for acting aggressively and uttering threats of violence in an ambulance.
Thomas Blaikie of Russell Drive in Ayr was taken to hospital on October 1 for concerning cuts to his arm.
Blaikie then kicked off and admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner in the ambulance and at Ayr Hospital.
Sheriff Mhari Mactaggart commented his conduct towards people trying to help merited jail time.
As an alternative to custody, he was placed under supervision for 18 months.
Blaikie was also tagged for four months, where he must remain in his home address from 7pm to 7am.
