Drink driver rap

A 59- year- old has admitted to being four times over the drink drive limit.

Anderson Watson of Glenapp Place in Kilwinning owned uup to the charge on August 17 this year.

The court heard how he drove his car along South Harbour Street in Ayr after consuming “so much alcohol” that the proportion of drink on his breath was 95 mircrogrammes - the legal limit is 22.

Watson’s sentence was deferred for the court to obtain a criminal justice social work report.
