Join the Ramblers

South Ayrshire Ramblers will head for Darvel for an eightmile walk taking in Loudoun Hill and the Long Cairn on Saturday.

Starting at Darvel Bowling Club, along Main Street to the old railway line, to Loudoun Hill. The walk crosses the River Irvine on the A71, and heads to Saughall, Darvel’s Meteorological Station, then over the Tulloch Burn.

It continues to Long Cairn, follows the road to Priestland and returns to Darvel.
