Fancy dress time for the fiddlers for Orchestra

Big hair - big show.

That ’ s the voice of youngsters from East Ayrshire Youth Theatre who welcome you to the sixties for their rendition of loveable Hairspray.

The group present this irresistib­le family friendly feel- good show piled bouffant- high with laughter, romance and deliriousl­y tuneful songs that will have you dancing the night away.

Tracy Turnblad is on a mission to follow her dreams.

She sets out to dance her way onto national TV with The Nicest Kids in Town.

Her audition makes her a local star and soon she is using her new- found fame to fight for equality, bagging local heartthrob Link Larkin along the way.

A story all about not judging books by their covers.

Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra players and families had a thrilling time at Northfield Bowling Club as they popped on their dancing shoes.

The Orchestra look forward to their famous Christmas Fayre in Ayr Town Hall on Saturday, December 1, while a lucky pair head off to Japan to finalise the details for the Rising Sun Tour next July.

Directors Wallace and Euan will visit Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Yokohama.

The Orchestra’s Christmas Concert, again in Ayr Town Hall, on Saturday, December 15 will serve up some musical sushi to whet your musical appetites.
