Ladies face wild weather

On a wild Saturday morning Ayr Ladies 1XI travelled to Grangemouth to face unknown opposition in the shape of Falkirk and Linlithgow.

After a strong first half, with Ayr dominating the play, the score stood at 0- 0. Ayr had several chances in the second half but were unfortunate not to convert.

Falkirk came back fighting and were lucky to score 2- 0 past a strong defence.

Man of the match goes to Ruth Hall for her usual strong performance at the back.

Next week, both ladies teams are at home: Ladies 1s at 1pm and ladies 2s at 2pm.
