Cats star in a purrfect calendar r

A feline- good calendar has been launched in time for Christmas.

And the stars are all cats that have had a lucky 2018.

The dozen pussies in the 2019 calendar have all been saved by the South Ayrshire branch of Cats Protection.

First they were saved from the mean streets and then the furry dozen were found a new home.

It was unveiled at the charity’s Christmas Fayre in Prestwick South Church on Saturday.

Morris, Noodles, Nougat and Reo are just four of the calendar cats showcased. Black and white beauty Evie stars on the front cover.

The £ 5 stocking- filler was designed by Ayr volunteer Linda da Brackenrid­ge.

Linda said: “It is always such fun un creating the yearly calendar.

“I especially love photograph­ing ng the cats, capturing their unique ue personalit­ies and funny ny expression­s. This year, we also lso decided to add a few facts and nd figures.”

Money raised from both the he calendar and Christmas fair will support Cats Protection’s South uth Ayrshire branch in funding cat rehoming, public education and nd neutering work in the local area. a.

Calendars can be purchased ed for £ 5 from the branch’s h’s Informatio­n and Education Centre tre at 5 River St, Ayr.
