Burns drive thru

Two Robert Burns events have received cash as part of government funding for Scotland’s Winter Festivals.

And in Alloway there will be the world’s first Burns Supper drive thru.

That is part of the Burns Hame Toun celebration from January 23 to 27 and has received a grant of £ 25,000.

Separately the Burns’ Birthday in Mauchline on January 27 has also attracted funding, bagging £ 5000.
