Kyle girls triumph in rotary speaking contest
Belmont Academy hosted this year’s Rotary- sponsored Youth Speaks competition - and it was won by rivals Kyle Academy.
Ayr Rotary Club secretary Craig Wilson chaired the event and Kenneth Dickie questioned the teams on their presentations.
The girls from Kyle presented on ‘ Cementing the Foundations of Feminism’ and triumphed, receiving certificates from Ayr Rotary President Colin Vooght.
