New club kits
Here are Troon Thistle 2004s fantastic new strips.
A number of the boys got together and raised their own funds to buy themselves new gear for training and away strips. The club, who play their home games at Hosiery Park in the town, organised a special sponsored walk to generate cash for the club and to pay for new equipment.
The team took part in a 20km Sponsored Walk from Racecourse Road in Ayr to Troon Promenade ( Walker Hall – part of the way being the Ayr Coastal Route). Gillian Boyd, of the club’s committee said: “Due to the generosity of friends and family they boys collected £ 540 from sponsorship.
“The boys are grateful to everyone who helped out with sponsor money.”
Thistle 2004s are always looking for new players to come along to training at Marr College on Monday nights at 6.30pm. For more info call Stuart ( tel: 07976 976318).
