Take a chance on follow- up

Unnecessary this sequel may have been, but it’s still an infectiously fun watch.

Flashbacks and additional characters keep it just beyond more of the same material and you can tell the cast are having a ball. Strip away the catchy tunes, though, and there’s not much else to it – and the less said about Cher’s turn the better.
