Pie hut raiders

Thieves broke into a football ground and stole sweeties and juice.

They targeted the pie hut at Auchinleck Talbot’s Beechwood Park.

Talbot Secretary Henry Dumigan said: “There was a bit of damage to the shutter door and the door into the catering facility. Luckily there was no damage to kitchen equipment.

“Names have been forwarded to the police so it’s in their hands.

“It’s hard to tell when the break- in happened. We only discovered it when we were leaving for our Scottish Cup game against Fraserburgh.

“They were that fly that they pulled the shutters back down so you wouldn’t know at first glance the catering facility was breached.”
