Child was neglected

An Ayrshire woman has admitted to child neglect after she left a baby unsupervised.

Nicole Wenbourne, of Ayr, pled guilty to neglecting a six- month- old child on August 2, 2012 by leaving her unsupervised on a bed where she fell and hit her head on the floor.

The 25- year- old also assaulted a man on April 2, 2012 by striking him on the head and scratching his face.

She appeared before Sheriff Scott Pattison at Ayr Sheriff Court last week.

Wenbournes sentencing was deferred until the new year for the court to obtain reports.
