Twice limit on A77

Ayrshire Post - - Court -

A boozed- up 61- year- old man drove a car while twice the limit, with no insurance and without the proper licence.

Robert Gorman admitted driving on the A77 Bogend Toll in Symington with 47 micogrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath- the limit is 22.

Gorman, of Gala Street in Glasgow, didn’t have the correct licence for the type of vehicle he was driving as his provisional licence had been revoked.

And he failed to have insurance in place.

He was sentenced to 18 months supervision and banned from the roads for three years.
