and hands- on approach has transformed both schools with improvements in attendance, no exclusions, improvements in attainment and – crucially – a very real and positive change in the ethos that sits at the heart of the schools.

“That means children are happier coming to school, parents and pupils have a representative voice as key members of the school community, and everyone is committed to working together to make a difference.

“We know making changes within a school to achieve such positive results is a challenge and it’s one that Fiona has faced headon to deliver for the schools.”

We told how primary five kid, Leon- Rhys, had gone AWOL three times in a week.

And furious mum Emma insists any attempt to discuss his alleged bullying has been blanked by the school. sc

She claimed: “They’re not in interested in hearing what is going w wrong. I’ve tried to speak to them ab about it numerous times but get no nowhere.”

“We have no information to su suggest that any complaints re received are not being dealt with in line with this procedure.

“The senior leadership team in both schools have my full support.”
