Santa will visit the cottage

Get the kids right in the festive spirit at the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum this weekend.

Head along to the special event where the youngsters can spend some time with one of Santa’s elves writing their Christmas letter on a parchment using traditional quills and ink.

One of the elves will then take them to meet Santa’s feathery helper to give them their message to take back to his workshop.

Santa will be waiting to meet the kids in the Cottage kitchen but they may have to wake him up - he has been known to have a wee snooze while he’s here!

Visit includes: Letter writing craft activity; photo souvenir; gift from Santa; juice and shortbread for the kids; Tea/ coffee or mulled wine and mince pies for the adults.

It will take place at 10am on Saturday and Sunday at the Alloway cottage.
