Telly girl village hit

Symington SWI’s latest meeting was held on November 14 in the “Hall for All” in the village. Mrs Vivian Harrison, our President welcomed Rachel McTavish, a very well- known Television Presenter.

Ms McTavish proceeded to give her audience a lively, and very interesting talk, on how she not only became a presenter on TV but a Maker of varied and beautiful items of jewellery, mentioning the well- known entertainers, lots of interesting people, she met along the way. The items of jewellery were usually made with someone special in mind as an additional appeal.
