Trainees brought the news from the Hampden conference
Trainee sports hacks hit the big time and reported live from Hampden at an annual football conference.
The team of UWS Ayr Campus fourth year students produced news content, created podcasts and managed social media.
Student Fraser Clarke said: “It’s been great to test out our skills in the real world.”
Senior lecturer Elizabeth McLaughlin added: “They witnessed academic discourse and debate first- hand at a highprofile sporting event and were given the chance to identify, and report on, newsworthy hooks around Scotland’s national sport.”
