Dig out gloves and try wreath making

The December meeting of Mauchline Horticultural and Agricultural Society will be a practical class in wreath making.

Come along to the Dunlop Hall of Mauchline Parish Church Halls this Thursday, December 6, at 7.30pm when Tommy Wharrie will be demonstrating traditional holly wreath making and helping member to construct their own.

Irene Yuill said: “Your wreath can be traditional or if you wish include fir, flowers and ribbon, it can also be made into a door wreath.

“If you would like to take part or even just come along to watch everyone else’s attempts you will be made welcome. If you wish you can bring along any special baubles, ribbon etc that you want to include. A pair of gloves may also be useful.
