‘ Empty homes’ prize

East Ayrshire Council’s efforts to tackle the problem of empty homes has been recognised at a national awards ceremony.

Empty Homes Officer Liz King was given the Best Use of the Media award at the Howdens Scottish Empty Homes Champions of the Year awards for organising an exhibition which attracted significant publicity as well as good attendance from owners and others.
