Diamond day for Curries

The farmers always love a rare day out away from the fields.

And Hogmanay was certainly a rare day for Tom and Margaret Currie of Altonburn Farm in Tarbolton: the date of their 60th wedding anniversary.

The couple and their guests put the glad rags on for the special night, complete with authentic wedding cake and lovely flowers.

The couple have one daughter, two sons and three grandchildren.

They were very proud to receive a card from the Queen to mark this special occasion.
