Budding film stars take to the screen

The Ayrshire Film Company are offering a special opportunity this week.

Budding young artsists are being invited to make a Burns themed film.

Participants can take various roles including acting, filming, creating storyboards, lighting and editing.

It will be taking place at Ayr Academy on Sunday, January 13 from 1.45pm and will be free for company members.

It will cost £ 5 for a taster session, with membership for the full series being £ 20 for the year.

The event is suitable for ages 8- 18, and children aged six or seven are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult during workshops.
