New year dip with a nip
With bellies full from festive feasting, Girvan residents started the New Year with a splash.
Youngsters and adults kicked off 2019 by braving the cold waters with a New Year dip.
And thankfully the sun was out as the brave dippers dashed into the sea.
New Year dipper Lynne Wardrop said: “It was a great turn out.
“Fabulous day for a dip - bit fresh but worth it.”
