Academy nail care

Residents from Fairknowe Nursing Home were treated to a “Pamper Afternoon” in Carrick Academy’s Nail Bar in time for Christmas.

Pupils from the school’s Nail and Barista classes treated their guests to various nail treatments and afterwards served some hot beverages, mince pies and shortbread.

All the guests thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and pupils joined in when their guests began a spontaneous rendition of “Silent Night”.
