Shaking the milk in Kilmarnock

For a long time now parents and children have enjoyed Milkshake!, the Channel 5 kids show.

Respite for mums and dads and enjoyment for the children.

Milkshake! Monkey’s Musical is coming to Kilmarnock later in the school holidays.

It’s an all new singing, all dancing preschool musical extravaganza.

The star is Milkshake! Monkey from acclaimed kids’ TV writer Miranda Larson.

The show plays at the Palace Theatre on Saturday August 10. It’s on tour across the country at an ear- bursting 90 venues.

Promotor Jazz Chappell of Nickelodeon said: “Milkshake! Monkey gets stage fright and his favourite Milkshake! friends come to help, creating the most dazzling Milkshake! show families will ever see.”

Also starring will be two channel presenters as well as as well as Fireman Sam, Noddy, Shimmer & Shine, Digby Dragon, Wissper, Nella the Princess Knight and Floogals.

Show director and Milkshake! presenter Derek Moran said: “The Palace stage will be bursting with fun, taking our young audience on a journey which champions friendship and positivity.

“The show is jam packed with audience participation, encouraging kids to get up, join in and hopefully put on their own shows at home.”

Kids will learn amazing songs and bops with their favourite Milkshake! friends, and watch as the music, the lights, the costumes and show come together.

Viacom boss Louise Bucknole added: “Following the success of the last Milkshake! Live tour, we are delighted to take this new Milkshake! musical to our fans all around the UK.

“Everyone can have the opportunity to see their favourite characters and presenters and take part in a really fun show.”
