Lads put their back into reclaiming path
More than 80 volunteers rolled up their sleeves to lend a hand to Hansel to transform a woodland walk within the grounds of their headquarters at Broadmeadows Estate in Symington.
A kilometre long pathway had become challenging for customers and visitors to safely use.
Volunteers from IG Contracts in Stewarton, Glaxo Smithkline ( GSK) Irvine and Kelburne Construction from Kilmarnock rallied round to help and get the path looking tip top.
Mundell, Corporate Services Director, Hansel, said: “We would never have had the financial or people resources to be able to do this project and we can’t thank all the volunteers enough.
“The woodland walk had long been forgotten and was overgrown and unpassable. Now we’re able to offer an opportunity for our customers, team members and visitors to go for a walk in a beautiful and safe environment.”
