St Ninian’s Episcopal Church are holding a Car Boot Sale in the church grounds on Saturday 21 September. Sellers can access at 8am and Buyers from 9am – 1pm.

A pitch for a car is £ 7, car & table £ 10, table only £ 5 and vans £ 12. To book a pitch please email administra­tor@ stninianst­roon. org. uk. Refreshmen­ts and facilities available in the hall.

Troon OIR the active and welcoming club for the over 50’ s will have its registrati­on and first meeting on Wednesday September 11 at 1.15pm in Portland Church Hall. Following registrati­on a talk and demonstrat­ion of Tai Chi will be given at 2pm by Michaela Sinclair.

New members very welcome.

Mindfulnes­s for Stress Relief will hold a meeting in St Ninian’s Episcopal Church Committee Room on Wednesday September 11 from 7.30pm to 9pm.

The session is organised by The Ayrshire Hospice and will cost £ 7 (£ 5 Concession).

Ayrshire Hearing Support meet in the Walker Hall on the last Tuesday of every month from 12.30 to 2.30pm.

New batteries, tubing and assistance is given free of charge.

Troon Library – Ronnie Russell’s Laughter Lines – Selection Box – will take place on Wednesday September 25 in Troon Library at 7pm.

Enjoy the cartoons and very funny tales of life’s adventures featuring Ronnie. Booking is essential. Entrance fee £ 3.

A Story- time Session for children aged three to five years will be held in Troon Library on Saturday September 14 from 10.15am to 10.34am. Booking essential. Entrance – Free.

Friends of Fullarton are holding a family- friendly evening on Saturday September 21. at 7.30pm.

Hunt for bats, moths and other creatures of the night .

Dress for the weather and bring a torch!

Meet at the noticeboar­d opposite the toilet block. Tickets priced £ 2.

The event is organised and supported by volunteers from the Scottish Wildlife Trust.

A Foodbank container is permanentl­y available in the Foyer of Troon Library. Donations of dry foods and tinned foods very welcome.

Troon Library will close on Friday September 20 and re- open on Tuesday September 24. These dates are Public Holidays in Scotland.
