-

Coerver ® Coaching joined forces with Caledonian Youth Club to host a Player Development Holiday Clinic at Caledonian Park, Prestwick. More than 50 players from age five to 13 took part in skills sessions, challenges and small sided games based around the Coerver Youth Development System. Coerver Coaching is a global training programme founded by Chelsea and Scotland legend Charlie Cooke and Alfred Galustian in 1984. Now active in 52 countries on six continents, the programme is used by some two million players and coaches globally. Coerver Regional Head Coach Chris Crookston said: “Our programme focuses on developing skilful, confident, creative, game- changing players.

“We use the world’s best players and teams as teaching models. “Our camps provide players with additional training time to develop their game while having serious fun, supporting and enhancing the work they are doing with their clubs.

“Having an established programme throughout Ayrshire we are pleased to offer future and existing opportunities in Prestwick and Ayr area for players and clubs.”
