Glitz and glamour all the way at Chamber’s annual dinner

The Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce are celebratin­g the successes of local businesses with a glitzy Gala Dinner on October 11 at Ayr Racecourse.

The evening provides the backdrop to the 10th Ayrshire Business Awards and will be hosted by Jennifer Reoch and Edward Reid.

Now in its 11 th Year, Ayrshire Business Week, hosted by the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce, is a prominent spot on the Ayrshire business calendar.

The week gets off to a flying start at University of the West of Scotland, Ayr Campus on Monday, October 7 at 10am in partnershi­p with the Ayrshire Growth Deal and the Regional Economic Strategy.

This FREE event is hosted by UWS with speakers Sharon Hodgson, Head of AGD and Karen Yeomans, Director of Growth & Investment, North Ayrshire Council.

On Wednesday, October, 9 the popular Connect Ayrshire B2B exhibition is back at the Park Hotel, Kilmarnock. Starting at 8.30am with an interactiv­e morning of Connect networking supported by Reach Scotland.

The exhibition itself opens at 9.30am with FREE admission to visit over 100 exhibitor stands and this year there will be a networking buffet lunch supported by RBS to conclude the event.

The grand finale of this busy week is the Ayrshire Business Awards Gala Dinner, sponsored by 1825 Financial Planning.

The evening starts at 6.30pm and the winners from this year’s Business Awards will be revealed along with the winners of the Apprentice Community Challenge 2019 – Ayrshire # ACCAyrshir­e2019 # ABA19 # BW19
