Man exposes private parts

A man with a mental health issue exposed his genitals in front of three teenage girls- then performed a sex act on himself.

Donald Nicol, aged 39, of Dalblair Road, Ayr, appeared at the town’s sheriff Court on Tuesday, September 10. He admitted conducting himself in a disorderly manner on Main Road, Ayr.

The offence took place on May 16 this year and Nicol pleaded guilty to sending sexual verbal communications to a 15 year- old. He then exposed his genitals and performed a sex act on himself in front of the 15 year- old- and in the presence of two 13 year- olds. The court was told how Nicol is currently suffering from schizophrenia. Sheriff Desmond Leslie placed Nicol on the Sex Offenders Reigster for five years, imposed a community payback order which includes three years of supervision and put the accused under a restriction of liberty order for the next four months.
