Cannabis dealer escapes jail time

A man who was concerned in the supply of cannabis must carry out unpaid work in the community.

Conor Andre, aged 24, of Whitletts Road, Ayr, appeared at Ayr Sheriff Court on Tuesday, September 10. He pleaded guilty to a charge of being concerned in the supply of the Class B drug at Whitletts Road on May 16 .

Sheriff Desmond Leslie imposed a community payback order which consists of 150 hours of unpaid work in the community to be completed within the next four months.
