A chocolate factory has been chipping in with community donations.

Nestle Girvan make the delicious milk chocolate crumb for brands like Kitkat, Quality Street and Aero.

They regularly help out the Girvan Youth Trust and last month thanded over £ 1000 to the group when 67 youngsters enjoyed a pirate themed day out. The chocolate factory also gave Girvan Community Gardens £ 500 ; Girvan Youth Football Club £ 300; gave £ 1000 to Girvan Early Years Centre and £ 1500 to Girvan Primary as wel as hampers for events atColmonel­l Youth Club, Girvan’s Nursery Court open day, Barrhill bowling club and Ayrshire Cancer Support Group.
