Patrick Smith, 21, slipped out of a window of a property in Warrender Park Road after 3am last Sunday. Patzo, as he was known to his pals, was studying chemical engineering at Edinburgh University and was once part of South Ayrshire Swim Team. He lived in Prestwick with his family. His friend Jay led the tributes on Twitter: “This week I lost my gorgeous best friend, Patrick always wanted the best for me ( don’t worry I’ll quit smoking). “He was genuinely the most brave and fearless boy I know, and I think many people feel the same. “I am so honoured to have known you as you were a ray of light and life of the party. “You introduced me to a community that has helped me grow so much, pushed me outside of my comfort zone and gave me so much confidence, so I am entirely grateful. “We bickered like cat and dog Open Day Sunday 29th September 12pm - 4pm Enterkine has been refurbished and includes our fabulous Oak Framed Glass Pavilion, the first of its kind in Ayrshire.
