A change to the walk for Rambling Group

In a change to their published programme, South Ayrshire Ramblers on Saturday are organising a circular walk of approximately eight miles, on paths, tracks and roads.

The walk will start at Tesco Car Park, Auchinleck, and head towards a path, with the Lugar Water in sight for part of the way, before reaching Dumfries House Estate.

Time will be spent in the Estate, walking on a number of different paths, leading to interesting places.

The route will then leave the Estate and head towards the main road for Cumnock.

There is some road walking involved, before reaching the path which leads back to the start.

To join the walk, please meet at Prestwick Town railway station car park at 8.50am .

It will be a 9am departure.
