Victorian Gaslight

The Ayr Fort Players will be bringing Patrick Hamilton’s Victorian thriller ‘ Gaslight’ to life on October 15 and 16.

Rehearsals are well underway for Ayr Fort Players as they light up The Gaiety stage with a new amateur production for Autumn. The cast are looking forward to performing this unique play.

Jack Manningham is slowly, deliberately driving his wife, Bella, insane. He has almost succeeded then help arrives in the form of a former detective, Rough, who believes Manningham to be a thief and a murderer. Aided by Bella, Rough proves Maningham’s true identity and finally Bella achieves a
