Macmillan Coffee Morning will be held in Troon Library on Thursday September 26 from 10am until noon. Tea, Coffee and home- baking will be served. Come along and support this worthwhile cause.

The next Beach Clean will take place on the South Beach – Royal Troon end – on Sunday September 29 at 10am. Bring your own gloves.

Troon Flower Club opens its new season on Wednesday September 25 at 7.30pm in the Walker Hall. Membership for the year is £ 35 or if you prefer to come along as a visitor the cost is £ 6.

The first demonstrat­ion is entitled “Autumn Odysssey”.

Scottish Country Dancing resumes on Thursday September 26 at 7.30pm in Troon Primary School. The cost is £ 5 per night. New dancers very welcome to come along and enjoy the fun and friendship.

Troon Arthritis Group will meet in St Meddan’s Church Hall on Wednesday September 25 at 2pm.

The entertainm­ent for the afternoon is the Ukelele Clan.

New members will be made very welcome.

Tea is served at the close of the meeting.

The Astronomer­s of the Future Club will meet on Thursday September 26 at 7.15pm in the RSAS Barassie Works Club. The Guest Speaker is Bonnie Steves, Prof. Of Mathematic­al Astronomy at Glasgow Caledonian University. Come along and find out about Extrasolar Planets and the origin of our own Solar System.

Seascape Befriendin­g Group – Feeling lonely in need of a chat and company? The Befriendin­g Group will welcome you on Friday mornings in St Meddan ‘ s Church Hall at 10am. Coffee and a hot roll with sausage are on offer free of charge.

RNLI Quiz and Fish and Chips Evening will take place in the Walker Hall on Friday September 27 at 7.30p. m. Tickets cost £ 10 which includes the Fish Supper.

There will be a licensed Bar and Raffle;

Tickets on sale from the RNLI shop in Ayr Street and from Committee members.

Troon Library – Ronnie Russell’s Laughter Lines – Selection Box – will take place on Wednesday September 25 in Troon Library at 7pm.

Enjoy the cartoons and very funny tales of life’s adventures featuring Ronnie. Booking is essential. Entrance fee £ 3.

A FoodBank container is permanentl­y available in the Foyer of Troon Library. Donations of dry foods and tinned foods very welcome.
