Stewart Travel in Troon has moved – but only round the corner.

The new travel agent is twice the size of the previous base, where the team helped thousands of people find their dream holiday for over 20 years.

Now Stewart Travel at 38 Portland Street, Troon, has more room and more expertise at hand to help people find their perfect getaway.

And on Saturday the official ribbon cutting took place.

It was a real party for everyone who attended as there was champagne, cake and holiday deals galore to enjoy.

Store manager Gayle Christie was delighted to make the move and is looking forward to welcoming new and returning customers.

“It has been an exciting time for everyone at Stewart Travel and we are delighted to open the doors of our new Portland Street store,” she said.

“Saturday was a great day. Our customers all enjoyed a glass of fizz and seeing the new travel agency after watching it take shape over the last few weeks.

“Here at Stewart Travel Troon our travel experts are a fantastic team of profession­als, all equally as passionate about travel as our customers.

“And, as you’d expect, they pride themselves on delivering the very best in customer service.
